I found the violence too sadistic for my tastes, but I offer no judgement to those that do enjoy crepqx type of relationship. The great Italian erotic comics artist Crepax then adapted it into comics in the mid seventies.

Where others judge and are disgusted by her actions, O is proud of her condition as a sex slave. Two adaptations of erotic characters into comic strip form. I couldn’t of cared less about all the BDSM sexual scenes, too many and it gets boring. Well I laid my hands on it and had to read it.

Often I found myself thinking, you fo have to take that! Despite its erotic tone, it also brings out all kinds of emotions: The story ends spoiler comingwhere we see that O has become the ultimate sex object, in a literal sense.
Sure, I get the concept of total submission, but there was never any respect given to O as a submissive. The idea of letting the mind go completely quiet seems very desirable since it never fully turns off, it might be tempting to lose herself so completely to her body, to her Master, without fully realizing the consequences?
